Regain Public Ownership of The Grid
Ecological degradation, escalating cost to consumers and declining quality of service are three compelling reasons why Nova Scotian's (or other provinces, counties, etc...) should reclaim ownership of their utility company.
The public fully funds the system, is ultimately the sole consumer of the electricity generated by the system and subject to live with the fallout from the ecological damage caused by the over-reliance on hydrocarbons to power our grid.
