Palestinian struggle
It is time that Canada joined most of the world's nations and voted at the United Nations to support Palestinian rights in the West Bank. The Israeli government's drive to colonize the entire area is cruel and perverse and should not be supported by any government that is concerned with human rights. Israelis should be forces to withdraw from the West Bank and leave the infrastructure they have created behind. They owe this much to the Palestinians. And the Israeli occupation of Palestine should end.
Why is this important?
Anyone concerned with human rights should want to end the cruel occupation of the West Bank by the Israeli authorities. This is needed if we are to be truly believed when we express concern for human rights anywhere in the world.
